Absolutely, our team has wide experience arranging funerals for families from African, Afro-Caribbean, Catholic, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, and Humanist backgrounds, among many others. We understand that cultural and religious traditions are deeply important, and we will take the time to listen carefully to what matters most to your family. From the specific rites of the service to music, dress, and the order of proceedings, we will ensure every detail reflects the life and beliefs of the person who has died.
There is free street parking nearby on Mottingham Road, and our funeral home is fully accessible, with wheelchair access, an accessible toilet, and a ground-floor arrangement room, so no one in your family needs to worry about getting around the building. Our arrangement room comfortably seats up to six people, giving your family a private and unhurried space to plan together. We also have a chapel of rest, where family and friends are welcome to spend time with the person who has died before the funeral.
Yes, our funeral home on Mottingham Road serves families across Grove Park, Eltham, Sidcup, Chislehurst, and Mottingham itself. We are very familiar with the roads and communities across this part of south-east London, so wherever you are based, our team can come to you and support your family from the very beginning.
You can call our Mottingham Road funeral home at any time, day or night, and one of our team will answer and begin helping you straight away. We can arrange for the person who has died to be brought into our care, and we will gently guide you through the steps that follow, including the paperwork and any immediate decisions that need to be made. There is no need to have everything worked out before you call us, many families who come to us from Eltham and the surrounding areas simply need someone calm to talk to first.
We work with Eltham Crematorium, Kemnal Park Crematorium, and Lewisham Crematorium, and we will help you choose whichever feels right for your family and the wishes of the person who has died. On the day, our team will lead the procession to the crematorium and stay with you throughout the service, making sure everything runs as you would want it to. We take care of all the arrangements behind the scenes so that you and your family can focus entirely on saying goodbye.
